Animals suffer from many of the same eye diseases that affect us humans. Ocular disease can be a result of injury, systemic health, breed, or genetics. Advances in both human and veterinary medicine have increased the ability to both diagnose and treat many of these diseases.
Our mission is to improve and preserve animal vision and quality of life by providing the highest quality, comprehensive and compassionate ophthalmic care. Dr. Michael Brown of Veterinary Ophthalmology Services, Inc. (VOS), brings extensive experience and expertise in medical and surgical ophthalmology to Oradell Animal Hospital. Dr. Brown performs gonioscopy, slit-lamp examination of the anterior segment, indirect ophthalmoscopy, applanation tonometry and OFA eye exams for breeders and show dogs (in-hospital or at eye clinics).
