Traveling with your pet can be an exciting experience and one that brings you comfort, whether you’re planning a quick getaway or a long-distance adventure with your pet. It is important to consider some essential factors to ensure a safe trip for you and your pet.

- Research and prepare in advance to understand the requirements and regulations of your destination and airlines. Some destinations and airlines have very different and detailed rules that must be followed.

Some countries require a 21-30 day waiting period after a rabies vaccine is given before your pet can travel. Check the requirements of your destination.

If you require a translator, please have someone available to translate for you when you call the office. We also ask that you bring someone with you to your appointment who can assist the veterinarian with gathering and completing information so that the processing is not delayed.*
