From Dr. Perlmutter: I will never forget Frisco. He presented to me on the emergency service after sustaining a hind limb impalement injury on a hike. After initial stabilization and supportive care, Frisco went into surgery to remove the branch. Later that evening after recovering from surgery he was already placing weight on his hind leg. Dogs are truly resilient.
